SpeedDirect Rod Links Clutch Linkage
Having problems
finding a good enough replacement clutch linkage for your Jeep? Now you
can replace that sloppy, worn clutch linkage with a new style, zero
free play, rod end bearing linkage, designed specifically for 1972
through 1986 CJ Jeeps. Even new, original linkage is sloppy and wears
quickly which causes more problems. Designed as a direct replacement
for factory linkage, the bearing ends provide a more durable component
and very smooth operation. Annoying squeaks and rattles are also
eliminated. The teflon-lined bearings require no lubrication and are
self-cleaning therefore no maintenance is required. The rod ends also
allow up to 15 degrees of pivot to accommodate for frame flex while
off-roading! The pushrods are upgraded to a stout 9/16" OD with 3/8"
mounting hardware. Extensions for body lift kits are also available.These kits are engineered as a
simple bolt on. All the needed hardware is supplied. This includes the
upper and lower push rods, rod ends, spacers and hardware. Spherical
rod end linkages are an excellent way to update a Jeep with better
technology and provide a very clean look!
