Chrysler
Group Offers Customers Miles
of Freedom
Auburn
Hills, Mich., Nov 17, 2005 -
Capitalizing on the sales
momentum generated by multiple product launches in 2005 and seeking to
increase the year-to-date sales gains, Chrysler Group introduces its
unprecedented Miles of Freedom Plan incentive program designed to offer
value-added services for customers who purchase selected 2005 and 2006
model year Chrysler, Jeep® and Dodge vehicles.
Beginning
Monday, Nov. 21 through
Jan. 3, 2006, the Miles of Freedom
Plan provides customers who purchase 2005 and 2006 model-year vehicles
with two years of free gasoline, two years of free scheduled
maintenance and a 5-year/60,000-mile full mechanical warranty.
"Owning
a Chrysler, Jeep or Dodge
vehicle should be a worry-free
experience for customers," said Joe Eberhardt, Executive Vice President
– Global Sales, Marketing and Service, Chrysler Group. "Therefore, our
goal with the Miles of Freedom Plan is to provide our customers with
ownership benefits unequaled in the industry. The combination of free
gasoline, free scheduled maintenance and a full warranty puts our
customers' minds at ease and allows them to fully experience the joy of
driving one of our vehicles."
The
Miles of Freedom Plan launches
Monday, Nov. 21 and will be
supported by new television commercials that are scheduled to begin
airing Sunday during NFL telecasts. The commercials feature
testimonials about the benefits of the Miles of Freedom Plan when
owning a Chrysler Group vehicle. Supporting print, electronic and
Internet advertising will communicate the benefits of the Miles of
Freedom Plan to customers.
Customers
who visit a Chrysler Group
dealership will have a choice of
incentives. All regular cash-back incentive offers, including
November bonus cash, are still applicable on 2005 and selected 2006
model-year vehicles. As an alternative, customers can choose the Miles
of Freedom Plan with two years of free gasoline and free scheduled
maintenance along with 5 years/60,000 miles of full mechanical warranty
coverage.
All
current cash-back incentive
offers for 2005 and 2006 model-year
vehicles will remain in effect through the scheduled termination date
of Nov. 30, 2005, while the Miles of Freedom Plan runs through Jan. 3,
2006.
Vehicles
excluded from the Miles of
Freedom Plan include 2005 and 2006
model year Dodge Viper, Chrysler 300, Dodge Magnum, Dodge Charger,
Dodge Sprinter and all SRT8 vehicles.
