Novak Conversions is
pleased to announce the imminent
release of the shortest, strongest and most versatile tailhousing kit
available for the popular Jeep Dana Model 300 transfer case.
The heavy-duty transfer case
rear output shaft is made of fully case hardened alloy steel and a 32
spline end. Novak kit #300RX measures only 4.7 inches from the rear of
the 300 case to the center of the universal joint. This is
significantly shorter than all factory and aftermarket tailhousings for
the Dana 300.
The kit was designed to
eliminate driveshaft vibration and tailshaft breakage, common to the
Dana 300 under strenuous conditions. The tailshaft is guaranteed to be
stronger than all on the market. The resulting dramatic shortening of
the powertrain allows Jeeps with suspension lifts and longer
transmission combinations to quell driveline vibration and reduce the
strain that is the source of many u-joint and tailshaft failures. The
milder driveshaft angles that are attainable with the installation of
the Novak 300RX kit will add to the capabilities, durability and
comfort of Jeeps from stock to highly modified models.

The
unique electronic speed
sensor and electronics package makes precise engine and gauge
calibration for tire size and axle ratio changes easy and far more
flexible than the factory speedometer gears can provide. The system is
compatible with every version of the Dana 300.
