The Follow Me to Certain Death Jeep Club Virginia is having it's first run of 2004 at Shoe Creek/Crabtree Falls (in GWNF) on Saturday, March 20th. Anyone who wants to go on the run is welcome.

If you plan to go, please either PM or email me at thephantum@fm2cd.com, so I can add you to the distribution list.

Rock On!

Steve

OK...so far we've got 5 vehicles confirmed...

1) My XJ (breakin' in the skid plates)

2) Jen's TJ (breakin' in the new lift)

3) Dale's XJ (breakin' in some homemade disco's???)
4) Trevor's TJ (just breakin' it laugh)

5) James' TJ (a "virgin wheeler"...always nice to break them in thumbs )

We also have a couple of "maybes" on the list: Dale's navy bud from VA Beach, I forget his name but he has a TJ, and Chris (are you ever gonna wheel that thing dude?). We also have at least 4 passengers coming along for the ride, possibly 6...I might have to leave the dog home this time...poor puppy.

Although this is a club sanctioned run, we welcome anyone else who wants to come along....just let me know.

Rock On!

Steve

OK, here's the rundown for Saturday:

First off, for all you fellow Richmonders...we will all meet at 7am (place TBD) and caravan out to Charlottesville.

We'll then hook up with everyone else at the Waffle House on 5th Street (1162 5th St SW, 434-296-5010) in Charlottesville at 8am sharp. THIS IS NOT THE SAME WAFFLEHOUSE WE MET AT LAST TIME! This one is approx 0.5 miles NE of exit 120 off I64...

After stuffing our bellies with a nice greasy breakfast, we'll depart at 9am and caravan down to the trail.

Now, I would strongly suggest that all drivers bring a small cooler with at least water and some lunch. Jen and I do carry coolers in our vehicles and we can carry some surplus items, but we have 6 vehicles and 13 people going (so far)...so it will be impossible for Jen and I to feed and/or keep everyone hydrated. If every driver has a cooler, we'll be set.

Also, all drivers should check the Required and Recommended Vehicle Equipment for Trail Rides in the FM2CD forum. Most of you are set on the required part...but look over the recommended list and get as much of it together as you can. You never know when you'll need it.

See y'all Saturday!

Rock On!

Steve
