Got the shackles on yesterday with a lot of help from a buddy of mine with an 88 YJ (SaturdayNight on Jeepforum). Took some effort but we got them on with the help of a sawzall. It was a good afternoon working on her then we did some backroads (muddy, rutted out dirt roads). THe 31s go on tomorrow around noon. I got my driving lights hooked up today too. I will probably do a little fender flare trimming tomorrow as well. So far it's been a good week. Mr. Green

hell yeah
He welded up his frame last week and got the gas filter fixed. He explained that the "sock" on the bottom was detached, starving the filter of gas. Which explains the staling/dieing when at 1/4 of a tank and making a left hand turn too. He replaced it and everything is smooth for now.

He has quite the access to tools cause his dad used to own an autobody repair shop. He's got everything so that is nice. He's a cool guy too so we had fun installing the lift as well. He is a bit jealous though and now he wants one. Even though they're cheap he doesn't know if he's gonna get one. he said that it he gets one, that's it in terms of suspension stuffs - he'll still accessorize though....I can't get him to come over to the dark side yet though and join JH...
