It was weak for the 33s, but not too bad and when I had a minor run in with a guard rail throwing off my alignment, I decided it was time to upgrade. I went with Rusty's, it was even cheaper than stock, check out my write up - http://jeephorizons.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?p=7623

If it effected your allgnment after the accident, you prolly bent it a bit Wink . Like he said, even with 33's, the stock steering setup isn't gonna last long. This is often overlooked when people lift. I know I did until mine bent....to the point where it was bent back and rubbing the diff Shocked (and that happened on road, just the residual stress of the bigger tires and wheeling did it). I initally took a half assed approach and only upgraded the tie rod, bu this left the OEM drag link which failed eventually and the whole setup hadda be replaced. Just some food for thought Smile .

How did you fit your 33x12.5 spare on the stock tire carrier? I had thought about airing down.

I had a spare tire bracket... If you still have canyons, you could put a spacer on there (such as a spidertrax 1.25" one) and notch the bumper.. I just ordered a jeeperman rear though!!!!

I didn't have to notch the bumper and still had loads of clearance! This is with both the Canyon and a BFG AT and now with an AR-767 and the BFG AT.

Or if you have a BL, as in Mike's case, the tire will fit...

Looks really nice! Have you been able to compare it to the old style? Also, did the price change with the redesigned model?

I'll put up some comparison pics... The spare tire is a lot closer, and the rest is mostly with how they designed it, such as the hinge, etc..

The price was the same, but I have a feeling it will increase. there is actually a really high demand and they are really busy making these, so I bet it's coming.

That would be a shame.......understandable as it is. You get alot for your money with the Jeeperman.

Yesterday I came surfed accross a couple other brands of bumper/carrier that are getting @ $900 to $1000 for there products.......thats realy getting out of the market pricewise. I couldnt see that they were any better or improved or anything that should make them that high compared to Jeeperman.
