Okay, we were all new to this once and there are lots of abbreviated terms in the Jeepin community, most especially in reference to lifts or suspension related topics.

This is a work in progress , so if you see any I left out please PM them to me. Much like my mind these will not be in any particular order.


BB = Budget Boost

BL = Body Lift

MML = Motor Mount Lift this realy should be EL for Engine Lift, seeing that we dont realy have a Motor in our rigs

SOA = Spring Over Axle

OBA = On Board Air

UCA = Upper Control Arms

LCA = Lower Control Arms

TC = Transfer Case

MT = Mud Terrain

AT = All Terrain

MT/R = Maximum Traction/Radial, Goodyears popular new offroad tire

BFG = BF Goodrich

GY = Goodyear

SS = Super Swamper aka Interco

PC = Exployer Pro Comp

OME = Old Man Emu

ARB = ARB Parent company owner of ARB air locking diffs, OME suspension systems, IPF lighting, Warn Winch, and many other offroad part and accesories. All highly rated for top quality.

RE = Rubicon Express
