got the axles finished finally. the 4.88's absolutely rule on the highway!!! the chart says i need to get a 39 tooth gear so i know how fast i'm going but from what i can tell i'm still only running around 2200 or 2250 at 55 in 5TH GEAR!!!!!! you hear that? i have a 5th gear again anyways, i put an ARB in the front and a detroit in the back - that should help it up in PA from now on. my new poison spyder trail cage is sitting in the garage too - we got a group buy going over at DeJA and it got us a great discount. once we locate a welder locally we'll (myself and two others) get the cages in this spring. time to start looking for a winch now.

quadna, I dont know what brand 37's you are running, but if they are MTR's, I am using a spare 36" Swamper for a spare. There is only 1/4" diiference.

it's been awhile since i posted much here...thought i'd put up a more recent shot of my jeep. here it is coming off the rock garden up at rausch creek. deja camped up there for the weekend and we crawled on saturday and sunday - great weekend and only a short damage report...crunched right fender/hood, bent shock, bent body mount, and threw a weight on the front driveshaft. good times
this picture can clearly show why i'm so badly wanting a long arm conversion for my jeep...just getting too high for the short arms
