Took it to the scale today.. It was #225 lbs lighter... And that is with the doors on... The doors are very hard to hold up... I think they must be #125 each .. Just so you know.. _________________ BONE STOCK

Thanks everyone .. I have decided that I am going to sheet metal the back and install a sliding back window out of an S10... I think that would be sweet...

But I like the slidingwindow thing... Now I have to decide on Canvas back or Hard Tonneau..

Have you decided on the rear cover yet?? _________________ 79' Chief, 360, TH400, D44, 14FF, Hydro assist,
welded front and rear, 35 SX's on hummer
double locks. And a 60,000# strap...

I think I am going to use that Tonneau cover that Kris has...
Talked to Auto motif today and they will do it .. Real cheap..
Price is right...

Started it last weekend.. Making the back out of sheet metal using a grinder for cutting and then welding it on took me 14 hours..
Of course that includes 5 trips to the store and 2 beer runs..
Who would have thought I could drink 18 beers and stil weld..
Of course I did give myself a good case of burnt eye when I forgot to put my shield down.. Left eye hurts like Hades..  _________________ BONE STOCK
