i've had my bushwacker flares now for over a year - other than some hardware issues in the beginning i've had no complaints over them. well, i'm looking to get the clearance back that i lost with them. granted, they stick out 6" compared to my tj sport's 3" oem ones...but they also hang down more at their lowest outermost edges. anyone thought about cutting the edges with a dremel? just the curvature ridge to the point of where it starts angling in again. how well do you think they'd hold their shape without that ridge in them? i'm just looking to keep as much gap as possible with my new tires. i've had no issues with fender rub...but flare rub at full compression when the wheels are turned gets a little too close for me. thanks for any input.

I chopped mine a little with a dremel and I am happy with the results. With a steadier hand and a little more patience you could certainly get yours to look lbetter than mine do but here's what they look like.

If you want a better pic I can take one tomorrow for ya. Finger

This was the first one
