Interesting that he says they have had problems with Texas. I hope that would not be East Texas... Confused

Well it might just be cheaper to fly up there and drive down. Probably could do it in two lazy days or maybe one really long one. Don't know, we have never driven to Indiana.

After my parents signed everything off for me I could go up there and drive back... hmm.

I have a feeling though that once I show the guy we know who owns this one Chrysler-Jeep dealership the JeepWarehouse.com price, he may give us invoice. My father tells me he is a nice guy.

Curiosity is killing me, I gotta ask. Why buy from this guy instead of a dealer? Not that I am badmouthing either one, I'm just curious. Smile

Go configure a Rubicon with all the standard Sahara options as I did and notice how you save just over $1500. Shocked

He is a dealer. They're based in Muncie, Indiana and have a real dealership with service dept and everything else. What's nice is you can save approximately $2000 over what's being offered at other dealers.

Trust me, I'm not one to jump in to purchases. Basically, I'm buying my Unlimited for $24,282...no haggling, no BS. One of the local dealers started at $24,995 (DC's MSRP for the Unlimited) and added my options on to that for a total over $26,000. They said they could give me a deal, but were clueless how JeepWarehouse was selling me an Unlimited for that price.

The rubicon that I fitted for myself on that website was $24K and some change

Okay now I have thought up another question. Would I want to get the factory soft top or buy like a Bestop soft top? Is there little or no difference?

Factory is the best. The Bestop Replace-a-Top is a second best. Everything else I would not say is worth the money.

I live in Texas, but I like to be prepared. Chances are I'll drive the vehicle to Colorado a few times in its life(yearly trip). And who knows where else.

Should I get the Engine Block Heater? It's only 30 bucks... and I like to be prepared. It won't hurt the startup of the vehicle in warm temperatures will it?

I don't think you'll need it. I think that you have enough information to decide now. Anything else is just little things that don't really matter. Are you getting a jeep or not?
