Hey new to this forum,and would appreciate,advice on how to remove the door surrounds on my 2000 jeep tj with oem soft top and full doors.Thank you for any and all replies horse

Fold your soft top down. Then unscrew those 2 knobs on the top of the door surrounds. Finish up by pulling the surround out from the vehicle. Putting them on is harder than taking them off.

EDIT: I deleted the duplicate thread also.

Be sure to grab the little rubber gasket that sits under the surround. They'll fall off easily and you don't want to lose them.

I've gotten to the point were I just leave them on. It doesn't make that big of a difference. Any ways if you do take them off, do not lose any of the parts!

I pull the door surrounds off when the top comes off. Later in the summer when I throw up the bikini top I pull the "C" clip and use the top portion of the door surround for my bikini and the lower half collects dust with my doors.
