Dale (majikxms) just turned me onto this...might be old news, but it's new to me. Decided to post it here since I didn't think it belonged in "Events"...at least not yet anyway.

I wish we had something like that here. Most of our offroading consists of class VI roads. Anything else is "outlaw" riding and that ussually brings out the local federallies.

Petersen's 4Wheel & Off-Road Magazine's May issue (on the rack now) has an article about the park as well, and Links4Jeeps has it on their OffRoad Parks/Places page. Matter of fact they break the states down that have Off Road Parks/Places to wheel, so check that out too.

Petersen's doesn't have anything on their site yet since it's in the magazine, but here's their link anyway:

Up in VT they call them "interstates" Mr. Green

Class 6 are basically unmaintained roads that are kept by either the state, counties or towns on the books as a road so that they can easily develop it if expansion is ever needed. Most around here are very old and some get fairly rough.
