Sad Jay at Mesa 4x4 has decided to close his internet Jeep accesorie buisness. Jay is a good guy and it was always a pleasure purchasing from him. He kept his prices sharp and his service was always first rate.

He basically did Mesa4x4 at night and weekends on top of a full time job. He dosent want his buisness and customers to suffer due to the success of Mesa4x4. He did well with it, but sounds like it became too much and was cutting into his personal life.

Sounds like he has his priorities lined up pretty good.

That's a shame, but I understand where he's coming from. I wish him luck.

Although, he did post this:

I do plan on re-opening the site soon with a limited number of products and a new system for handling orders... I believe I can still keep my hobby but have more controlled sales this way. So, please keep an eye out for me to return.

That really sucks. I hope he's able to keep things together and come back in some form or another. He's one of the best I've dealt with so far. Great guy, great service, great prices.

That's weird, the business does well so he closes?
I guess if it starts cutting into your "real" job and family, you gotta do what you gotta do.

Certainly not questioning the decision, but if the business was doing well, I'd quit my job and go full-time self employed.

I know the thread is 4 years old and some of you may already know but I found this in a search for Mesa4x4 in an attempt to find out how much traffic we were getting and if people were talking about Mesa4x4.

I did want to let you guys know that Mesa4x4 is live and well under new management. My wife and I are friends with Jay through our local club we took the company over last year. We have a similar work practice as Jay but my wife runs Mesa4x4 full time. We also pride ourselves in trying to match not only the prices but the level of service that Jay set as a standard for Mesa4x4.

Please stop by some time!

Thank You,
