We hardly have a winter here.. Yesterday it was in the 80's ... As I type this.
8 AM weather bug says its 77... I could put the doors on now ...
Except for the rain... Very Happy NOt raining today.. But since its winter in the rest of the world when It starts snowing other places it rains here...
SO winter is usually pretty wet.. Thats why I am waiting til Spring... Which is ....LIke I said ... Middle of Feb.. Laugh Laugh Laugh These 2 month average of 60* winters are hard on me... Laugh Laugh Laugh

Every time we have a nice day in Jan.. I am glad I left Michigan...

Saweet.. I am going to use 1" schedule 40 pipe.. Its very easy to find and very cheap But a discount is a discount..

Looks like I will need 20' or so..
I didnt forget but Its one thing to be rained on in cold weather.. (You know La. Winter 50* or so..)
I dont mind getting rained on when it 90+ .. In fact I kind of like it.. Laugh

I have looked and there are only 4 bolts on each door.. That means it would be pretty easy to remove the doors...

Let me know if you can get that and how much..

Glad to see another La. Guy on here and with a ZJ no less..... Welcome to the forum..

Carl

Actually, it's a WJ, and it's not really worthy of the Jeep nameplate.....2wd....but I'm stuck with it for another year, so I'm making due and shopping for an FJ40 or ZJ to play.

talked to my friend today...dumbass lost his cell phone at the sugar bowl. anyway, he said that he does have it, but on just one section of pipe (it comes in 20' lengths), you wouldn't really be saving anything...like maybe a dollar, if that.

I need to design some "safari" style doors for the dodge. How do you intend to protect all of the under dash electronics and whatnot from the rain?
