It's funny.. I posted the pics in 3 Jeep and 1 4WD forum. The 4WD forum and two of the Jeep sites all loved it, and the other Jeep site turned bitch on me... They do this quite often, it's sad.. I RARELY post there now.. if ever. _________________ -Quadratec Online Support

don't understnad why people bitch about the mods that other poeple do to their rides...Even if what someone else does isn't what I would do to mine, I can still appreciate what they are doing. I think that it looks good. What were they sayin? Can we get a side pic of it now too? I would like to see them from different angles. How much effort did it take to do?

It's sad the way the average IQ has dropped at certain places. I look at it as this: you might come up with something I hadn't thought of before and I'm certainly not going to bitch at you for it. Know what I mean? Anyway, it looks good. _________________ Nothing to see here. |

I like it. I'm trimming mine diagonal to match my rollcage. And regarding all those who critcize, just remember: you are the one doing the work and living with the outcome. Fark 'em! _________________ dan is the coolest |

Haha, thanks everyone... I'll get more pics later.. I'm going to paint the support bar black, and maybe the lower part of the fender that I painted red...
Does this look better?

It looks nice, but my issue is that I think you need to go a step further. The practical benefits of hacking the fronts of the fender off, are negated by the bumper sticking out in front of the tire. Hack the bumper and you'll have awesome approach angles at the front corners.
The other part of the flat fender mod, is for tire clearance when flexing. Granted, a YJ doesn't flex a whole lot. (Sorry, I'm a TJ guy, gotta get those jabs when I can)....but you left the entire side of the fender on.
I by no means am trying to shoot down your mod, just go a little further. I guess I'm going for constructive criticism. _________________ 04 Unlimited |
