I have an Olympic rear bumper on my TJ...

I like the plain-jane look but would like to have a tire carrier so I can take more than one passenger wheelin if I want...
I have a carrier design idea in my head to add to this bumper but don't have the time or heated garage to build it...
I'm really diggin the Toys-by-Troy rear bumper and swing out...
I like how tight it tucks... not sure I like the latch... or the price

anyone have any opinions/ or expirience with this bumper? just tryin to decide if I wanna build or buy...

thanks

I have full faith in DD enterprises, but have a feeling you want the bumper sooner than the summer! I love the toys for troy front and rear... Have you checked out Red Rock 4x4? His prices seemed really reasonable and tell him your from Jeepforum.com for a discount...

Doug, you should wait and see a Jeeperman swingout in person. If you're unsure about the latch of the TBT swingout, you're going to love the Jeeperman latch. The bumper tucks in further than the OEM bumper did also.

Are you wheeling the 10th?

No, I didn't. But I don't know if I took any either...let me check the camera and I'll get back to you.

EDIT: Here's a link to the pics of my Jeeperman swingout. Yeah, they're on Imagestation. Yeah, you've gotta register if you haven't already....but it's free. Shut up.

This shows one of the items that Raingler offered for the Jeeperman rear that most do not that was a key selling point for me. I had asked about the frame tie ins and how they worked with the BL bumper height and this shows it perfectly.

The Jeeperman bumper and tire carrier is SWEET Razz . quadna71 has one, and I'm jealous. I went a little cheaper with the Warn combo, and I'm sorry did it. The Jeeperman bumper is much more solid, especially with the frame tie-in. The hinge for the swingaway carrier is HUGE compared to mine and works much better. Better latch too...

What do you guys think about the toys by troy rear combo? Just curious of opinions, I think it's sweet! I became interested because of the front bumpers functionality and protection...

Here's mine made by Custom 4x4 Fabrication. I also have the same swingout on my XJ from them. They have held up fine on both vehicles. The TJ has a 35 MTR on it, there's room for a bit more tire.

That's a nice carrier Lynn. I checked out their site and see it's Hi-lift compatible as well. Still a bit more than what I wanted to spend, they all seem to be Wink .

I was liking this one....you can see it here...., but it doesn't look like it's adaptable to a hi-lift. Price was definitley right though. Only reason I've got such a hankering for the jack mount is that my little girl usually comes out on the trail and I'd rather not mount it inside with her car seat in the back Confused . Hell, I still have to buy one yet....been waiting on the carrier first Rolling Eyes Mr. Green .
