CoreyXJ had to purchase one for his heep, but we need to put a tow hook on it still, and ShawnWJ needs one for the front of his, I haven't looked under it yet so I don't know what it needs. So does he have to order a special bracket like CoreyXJ or can we drill one in somewhere, or does it come with stock factory holes?

You really need to order the brackets because its a unit body.. You dont want to just drill holes and bolt it on.. THe unit body will be predrilled for the bracket..

Try Kevinsjeepparts.com he has a radiator support that holds tow hooks or shackles and its awesome..
Good price to..
Here is a pic...

Is the WJ and ZJ similar enough that Kevins radiator mount works on the WJ?

So I guess that's more money that he needs to spend on the WJ, what about the rear

My understanding is that the WJ's, ZJ's and XJ's are all similar, since they are all unibodys. Brackets are required to install tow hooks front and rear.

A better option would be to install front and rear hitch recievers or aftermarket bumpers. The reasoning is that these two options tie in to both "frame rails". So not only is the load during a recovery spread out over the entire structure, the unibody it self is stiffened up by essentially tying the rails together (forming a box).

Order of expense would be tow hook brackets, reciever hitches, aftermarket bumpers....so it's truly a case of getting what you pay for.

My $0.02

Rock On!

Steve
