'86 CJ7 I6. Replaced plugs and wires. Ran fine. Flushed radiator and put a new thermostat in. After I put the new thermostat I let it sit overnight for the RTV to cure. Filled the radiator the next day and can't get 'er to turn over. Any ideas? Starter solenoid?

You can jump the solenoid to see if it's that or the switch pretty easily. Could be anything electrical that's involved with the starting system..... battery, cables, solenoid, switch, wires, starter.......
Shouldn't be too hard to track down.

Well it's definetly not the solenoid. Just put a new one on since it's only $10. Battery checks out good. During starting it shows a little over 9V. The starter runs fine I just seem to have no spark.

Are you saying it won't turn over..... or that the engine turns over but won't start (fire up)?

If it cranks, but won't run.... check the cap and rotor. Could also be the coil.

It turned over fine but never started. I pulled a spark plug wire to see if I was getting a spark. I did and the engine started. I didn't do anything to fix it. Is something going bad?
