So the previous owner of my tires apparently has used motor oil to give the "Everlasting shine." I stay filthy cause when I get within 5 feet of the tires they smear all over me and my clothes.

Is there any way to get this crap out? Bleach White is my last resort, I'm planning using simple green for now though. Is there any other way that you guys would know how to get the oil out of the tires?

Yes try Joy or Dawn!! It will strip it off!! DO NOT GET anything with lotion. If it's to bad for that a good adhesive remover will work from a Auto Body jobber. I have had that too.

Probably not oil. I would guess Meguiars or something simular in a super tire shine formula of sone sort.

Why do I say this?

Cause I was stupid enough to use that crap on my MT/R's when my rig was brandy new. Man did that stuff suck after a couple of days. It got slimey and took forever to come off.

What some of the tire shine stuff do, and I beleive this is the case here. They use a mild solvent that actually lifts oils from the tire itself which then gives it that long time wet look. Supposedly it dont hurt the tire itself but yuck what a freakin' mess shock
