Does anyone have any of the upper glass windows for the soft top doors?

I was curious if you like them.

the slider one's? I've never heard anything good about them. I used to like the idea until everyone says that leak and never stay shut. Plus you loose a lot of window with those.

I have upper sliders for the half doors on a 2000 Sport. They work nicely - reduce noise, and allow one to open the window without dumping water on one's lap if it's raining.

And you can take them off easily for a nice half-door wind experience.

The very first thing I did after buying my 2005 TJ X soft top was to install those sliding glass windows. They are a blessing for anyone like myself who must open the window frequently to pay tolls, parking lot attendants or pay for burgers at a drive-up window. They are not perfect, but the benefits far out-weigh the drawbacks if you must open your window as often as I do.

I have had mine for over a year now & do not have a single bad thing to say about them. They are the great. I can open & close the window easily, don't get wet doing it, don't have the window hanging in when it is done, it is much quieter, uh...basically I love them. Maybe people who had them that leaked or didn't like them had older ones and the newer ones are improved. But I highly recommend them.

Hey Tim,

Where did you buy your sliders? I would love to get a pair for my half-doors. Thanks in advance for any help!
