For those of you with Body lifts....

If you have a body lift and you have not relocated your shift linkage OFF te tub of your Jeep... (Not sure if this only applies to TJs with NP231s that's why its here)... You are in for a surprise at some point down the road.

The pressure on the linkage from the increased angle can cause the shift forks inside your transfer case to rub and eventually explode... ask me how I know...

So if you want to save $$$$$ I would suggest you get a Transfer case linkage relocation bracket or ditch the BL...

Hey I had a similar instance on KTJ's BL that he had installed. The angle from the parts that mount to the body (4WD linkage) and what went into his NP231 was so steep that it was rattling and vibrating the whole underbody. Daystar sent us a piece that lowered the linkage about 1.5" down away from the body - Fixed most of the rattle. Thanks to Daystar for sending the piece no charge ...and thanks for nothing to 4WheelsSupply who forgot to install it...... Dummies.....
