1989 258ci stalls when first started in morning unti temp reaches + or - 150. It will also stall when restarted after completed warm for the first couple of minutes. It will rarely stall after it has run for a couple minutes continuously. I have used carb cleaner and no change noted.

Have you checked the venturi in the carb to see if the idle tubes are blocked?

Keep us posted on how it goes - hopefully that's all it is and you'll be good as new. Wink

I really appriciate the instructions. I bought the Jeep last week. Its my first YJ. Its completely stock and doesn't appear to have off the pavement. I spend alot of time in the woods hunting and fishing. I have three Suzuki Samurias. Two of them are complete and one frame, body and axles. There stock but lifted with 32 X 9.5 TSL Swampers. My 16 year old son keeps me busy keeping them rolling. He loves to show off with them. He's not touching my Jeep! Thanks again!
