Looks great! Since you had a bit of time behind the wheel, what do you think of it? Mr. Green

Awesome, congrats on getting it. I couldn't read the logo on the rims, but it looks like a ferrari rim? I want a Hemi in mine.

Yes, they are AEV's rims. I first had chosen the silver rims & then saw those ARGENT ones in person. Dave & his brother Jordan told me I'd like Argent better, but was stuborn about silver...now I understand why they recommended the Argent with the Solar Yellow.

As for how I like it, it actually feels like a regular jeep on the street when your not mashing the gas. When you mash the gas...that's another story. It sounds like a drag strip car almost. Dave told me that the muffler is basically the equivalent to a "glass pack"

My Hemi is the first to a customer & will still have some growing pains. I'm proad to be thier "out in the real world" test vehicle to get all the wrinkles out. I've actually been given an unofficial job offer to work with them when I'm done with school, but I have to talk to Holly about living in Montana, since we both miss MA/RI area so much...a lot of family & friends back in the Northeast.

What can you tell us about the South American HP44? Is AEV importing them? One of those would be awesome with the Warn large hub kit, alloy shafts, and some CTMs.

Actually don't know. Just found out what they were today. You'd have to call AEV & talk to Dave.

Well, I don't like to talk price...but the engine is like $8k & the install is about the same...Would be much better to call Dave at AEV, especially after the SEMA show (first week in November).

www.aev-conversions.com

To my knowledge, they only work on new vehicles.

Ouch! Found the price list...http://www.aev-conversions.com/HEMIcomparison.html

Still, VERY cool, but I don't think I would put in the motor/trans more than what I paid for the Jeep.

Not like it matters too much, these 4.0L seem to last forever, I'd have to kill it myself to get a new motor...LOL.
