Just wondering if anyone out there had the X terrains on their rig? I am looking for input for my next set of tires. If there are any other suggestions, let me know!

I don't know of anyone that runs them, I have read that you will either love them or hate them on some other forums. Most of the people on here run trxus and they love it, and the rest run MT/R's. And if you don't have either one of thoses, I think it BFG's. I love my MT/R's and will get another set of or I'm going with the MT claws.

Yeah, I heard that too. I read a review on them in one of the off road magazines and they were rated pretty good. The only disadvantage they saw was since they are directional tread, they are horrible in reverse. I don't plan on being in reverse much though. A buddy of mine has them on his bronco and loves them compared to MT/R's. He said the ride was smoother and a lot quieter.[/quote]

I'm just about to remove my directional tires (baja claws) and I'll never go with directional tires again. They do great when moving forward, but suck in reverse. You don't plan to do a lot of backing, but it happens. The other thing I don't really like is that they greatly complicate rotation and the whole spare issue.

Get some Trxus MT's. You won't be sorry. Directionals suck in the mud.

This was a pic I took last spring, bty these were on a Rubicon and he had to be winched out about 5 times due mostly to these tires that packed up horribly and dont self clean well.

If you plan on any offroading were there may be mud or any wet conditions at all, do not use these tires.

Todd, what kind of tire is that, it doesn't look like a MTR or Trxus, is it a baja claw?

Mmmmm, Krawlers. Prolly go with those when it's time for new rubber now that I'm only like a mile away from work. Never woulda considered them if I had any kinda significant drive daily, but now it's really an option. Thanks for reminding me Wink Mr. Green .

Keith, I think the Krawler's are still like $350 a tire....that's a lot of money for tires considering it's been months since you've been offroad. Finger

Oh hell yah, the MTkm's are still like new. I wouldn't be replacing anything 'til these are worn down to the point where it'd be justified............I'm still married ya know Wink rofl .
