Ok, I'm still having this problem and would like to get it fixed during my two week christmas break! Heat will not come through my dash vents, it comes through the defrost vent and the floor vents but not the dash vents. Any ideas as to why this happening?

I've seen this before... Look in a manual, I believe there is a lever or cable or something that turns when you select the different "zones" for the heat.. If you replace that (I think I remember it being cheap, I helped a friend with the same issue years ago so it's cloudy) you should be good..

Before you go yanking the dash off, be careful with the airbags. I don't want to read about you having a screwdriver embedded in your sinus. Do you have the FSM? If you go to the HVAC removal/installation section, it shows you how to pull the temp control panel from beneath the radio. I'd look at those connections to make sure everything is still hooked up and also check to be sure there's enough vacuum to operate the blend door (not the right name, but I can't think of it right now.)

Not the blend door, the mode door. The blend door adjusts the temp. The mode door adjusts air flow. Just helpin you think.
