Hey, I was just wondering if anyone had a cool, cheap way to actually mount a D-cell sized Mag-Lite to the Roll bar of their CJ or Wrangler. Pics would be nice too.

www.quadratec.com sell billet mounts for C and D battery sized mag lights. I have one in my Jeep.

You may be able to find them cheaper on other sites.

i'll second the billet mounts....
they're pricey, probably more than the mag-lite itself but they're designed really well in my opinion.

Home Depot has a 4 dollar solution to this. Its made for the mag light, its a nice bracket that you can either clamp or screw into the roll bar or anywhere you choose to mount. I have mine mounted just to the left of my driver seat on the floor. Its easily accesible but out of the way. Works just great for me..

Wish you could have posted that sooner. Sad

Oh well, I've already mounted one of those flashy billet ones to the center roll bar right above the center console. Mr. Green

I'll inform my friend of the Home Depot solution. He has a light in the glove box, but that's almost too far out of the way.

Thanks for the ideas anyway,
Stephen
