Okay so day one and I'm done for the nite. The victim...
Last nite did the grille like zilla's. Wish had more pics, hope to have more soon. At this point all emblems have been removed & the fender flares too. So first thing ditch the bumpers!!
Next cut the Front fenders
Time for the rears 
Notice now the mouldings and the pinstripe also have gone byby

Im still seeing to much sheet metal on that thing...

This is only day one!! Yes it's three bay shop with a seperate paintbooth and yes that is a frame machine with a Justy on it, have to paint that in the morning. Thats in the paint booth ready to go

Well, The Justy has been painted and My XJ is now in the paint booth. It is now just 6:00 p.m. I have now come to believe that they did a little more body work to it than planned. LOL I am not positive of that, but the guy that is working with him kept commenting are you sure you don't want to take care of the small dings in the doors. I said no because not a week or two later my in considerate neighbors would have those exact dents back in there. Plus this is going to be a rig too. It will get some abuse.

hey i see that can o flake...now im think of gettin a herse...droppin it a bit makin a nice street rod...why you ask well how many herses youve seen thats a street rod? none or very few thats why....anywho back to the paint i was thinking of a serious deep purple not that barney crap with some green flake like dark green...anywho vic should i ever get the money to afford 2 cars and gas and ins would you be able to paint it purple with green flake?
