Today I continued my task of hooking up the off-road lights in my TJ and got it all done, 'cept the part where I'm 'posed to get the wire inside the Jeep. I ran the wire inside the loom as suggested, tested them out and they work fine. Then I secured them to the roof rack and stopped there cuz I really didn't want to drill any extra holes into the body. I know alot of you have off-road lights, and would like to get some suggestions so I can get the lights hooked up and ready to go. THANX. have a great weekend.

If you look under the dash from the driver's side, you should see the firewall... There is a few holes most likely and definitely one with a rubber plug which is really thin... You can pull out that plug (or probably even cut) a small hole in it, put it back in and run the wires.

i found that making a slight "/" and a "\" with a razor works well. push the wire through the center of the cross and then a dab of rtv once you done to weatherize it.

I drilled two holes in the windshield frame, folded it down, and "fished" the wires through.....it's not the best way for someone without patience....but it's the cleanest set-up in my opinion. I see you already have your answers, but I figured I'd tell you how I ran my wires.

I'll try to get some pics soon if you want to see where I drilled the hole. thumbs
