Hi,
I currently run a ZJ 4.0 litre limited in Scotland it is actually my wifes car and general baby buggy, we have owned her for about 18 months and are delighted with almost every aspect. Being based in the UK with fuel around the $7 / 4 per gallon mark we have just traded up to a Silverstone 02 Grand Limited 2.7 CRD any owners here have feedback on reality with one, the drive we took was astonishing, the performance is amazing the economy on the trip read 29.9mpg over a 15 mile run on a mix of roads and speeds
Also the quality of the WJ is far improved too. so what is the real story from real owners? a good move?

Thanks anyhoo,
Its a pity as I collected it today, and averaged around 30mpg (fuel costs are around 88p per litre here or $7.00 per gallon Evil or Very Mad )with far stronger performance than our old 4.0 litre. I adore the OEL gauges too, will be of great benefit scaling up a mountain side in the depths of a muddy winter Wink

What you can do is check EBay UK or something like that..

Then when you find one I can give you a link to the company that shipped my mini cooper over ... Very Happy

I am also.. Looking for a 78-80 model Mini and am going to ship it the same way.. It takes about 2 weeks and cost me about $1500 but thats not really that bad... Especially if you get what you want and dont have to settle for what can be found locally...(Which in the case of the 78 mini...Is nothing.... Mr. Green )
