Depends on the care. If you never clean all the mud etc from the backside, anything will rust. I plan on getting one too.

I don't care for the open back or the laser cut W logos and won't buy their bumpers. I feel there's a lot better out there for similar or lower cost.

I have a Wran front bumper and have not had any problems, but I baby my TJ and immediately take it to the car wash if I've been bad. Warn bumpers are powder-coated and should last a lifetime if you take care of 'em.

You're also in Arizona. Let that bumper spend a year in an area where salt is used on roads like it's going out of style. I hate powdercoat.

Jeeperman 46P is fully enclosed in the back with a winch plate built in, shackle tabs welded front and back, for $270.

I looked at Warn Bumpers prior to purchasing the Jeeperman. If your plans are gonna call for a winch someday or you like the idea of having a brush guard then do the math.

The Jeeperman comes with a brushguard and is winch ready when you bolt it on the Jeep. With the Warn all the extras are....well extra. By the time you have the bells and whistles the Warn becomes a more expensive piece...that includes factorying the shipping costs if you purchase from 4WD or simular.

Most of the Warn bumpers/skids etc that I see up here in NH get rusty real quick due to the road salts used in winter. I installed my Jeeperman front Bumper last winter and its now going threw another with the roads seeing lots of salt again...amnd so far no rust or bubbling.

I have the ARB in the front and the Warn in the back... I live in San Francisco and have beat the living daylights out of both out on the trails. I also spend most weekends up in Tahoe Snowboarding so I get the salt from the roads and fog.

I don't have a problem with rust at all. When I have removed the paint I replace it. simple as that...

I don't think CalTrans is using nearly as much salt as they use back east. In fact, they've started using liquid magnesium chloride as an alternative to salt. I don't believe it causes as much oxidation.
