Hey Everyone,
I just bought an 05 JGC 4x4 Laredo (white) last month and now its time to get some rims for my new baby!!!

I am completely lost on learning what will fit on my cherokee and what wont...

I heard 22s will fit but i think that is too big and dont know how bad it will affect the performance of my car...

I've decided to go with 20s....I'm looking to spend 2-3 Gs for wheels and tires...What do u guys think i should go with? Brands, etc? As in the words of Paris Hilton, Whats "hot"??

Any ideas on where i should shop? Is online better than going locally?
I am in Philly by the way...

Thanx u guys and thank you for having me...

Look for a better looking 17 inch, wider if needed and increase the tire size by at least 2 sizes. Since the tires are now taller install a 3 inch lift and get that Jeep up in the air where it belongs. crazy jeep

BF Goodrich offers All Terrains for 20" rims now, don't know why you'd want to do that to a Jeep, but hey.... To everyone their own... Confused

I will start by saying Welcome aboard... Always nice to have a new member...Now on to business.....

Damnit... Big rims....Well lt had to happen.. Ummm... I will go with Streetdoc and say 17's or maybe 18's but no bigger.. It starts to look to "URBAN"
I have 16's on my mini cooper and those are the biggest that didnt look crappy.. 17's on there looked like ass and the 18's where just rediculous...

You will do whatever you decide contrary to what any of us say but I personally think that 18's would be the absolute max on the new grand..

With 17's being preferential.. I know you wont be the coolest rig in the hood that way but these big wheels are the bell bottoms of our times.. One day you will look back and go... I cant believe I thought big huge rims looked cool... (and bellbottoms again for that matter..)

You will find that most of the people on this forum are offroading thier jeeps and wont know much about "pimping" them, but we will be as helpfull as we can be... Mr. Green

That said... Check out FALKEN for tires specificly the Ziex line..... Very cool tread patterns and they last quite a while.. I used to have them on my Daily driver...

Here are the Falken Ziex 451's..

Here is a link to the site where I found them..

Have no clue about the wheel issue, but as far as online vs. local, generally if ya shop around you can find the same sorta deals (figure in shipping and handling and what not, normally it all equals out).
