Well, the work in progress continues. Today I found Mopar's off road driving lights, on sale for 60 dollars, so I put those on, but dont have the wireing harness yet.

And, I was sick of looking thru plastic windows on the driver and passenger doors, so I put Bestop's upper's with sliding glass windows in. Frankly I really like them, I can now see out the side doors so much better. I'm not overly concerned about the latches because pocket knives open all soft tops anyway. And I could not resist putting the Warn decal on the front windshield that Warn sent me in the mail. What can I say.
Very Happy

One key thing I have noticed with the upper doors with sliding windows, it is alot quiter now driving at higher speeds, you dont get that whipping action on the side uppers like you do with the original plastic window versions....that alone makes it worth it to me....you can talk to someone without yelling and the music is loud and clear.......

Its looking good......

well except for that bug deflector......thats hideous.....the only way it could look worse is if you stuck a "H2 RECOVERY TEAM" sticker on it shock

Other that that bit of advice I like it! Cool

LOL! ROFLMFAO!!! That was great! Very Happy

I swore I would never put one of those on my jeep, but in Northern CA, we have so darn many bugs due to the rice fields, etc, that my window was loading up big time, and I got sick of it. The deflecter actually serves a decent purpose.

The big deal to me was the noise reduction I have expeirienced with the sliding window uppers. It is so much quieter in the cab, very noticable.

Lookin' good so far! But why does the bug deflector look like it's mounted upside down?

I have a Mopar one too, but it doesn't look like that, LOL.

I'm glad to hear a good report on those sliding windows. I just ordered a pair from Quadratec. They haven't arrived yet, I can't wait to get the driver's side window off of my left arm. Very Happy

sheesh, with all the laughing going on around here i wouldn't think the windnoise in the jeep would be a problem no matter what windows you have! Smile i've been in a jeep with them and can agree that everything seemed much quieter. jeep's looking good man!
chris (often wondered if people really sit in front of their computer laughing out loud all to themselves - Wink)
