NSS will not come out, HELP!

Ive removed the bolt, the lockwasher and the retaining nut.

I tried prying by putting the nut back on a few threads and it stripped off a few of the threads...

what a day...and i still cant get the unit out, someone help me Evil or Very Mad

There's one bolt and also that large nut, I assume you already removed both?

The NSS should rotate a bit around the shaft, then you have to just work it loose.

i did that....it will not come off...

i even tried prying the damn thing...it will not come out

Did you try spraying and soaking it with some penatrating lube yet?

This happened to me too, after a good soaking of penetrating oil, I turned the nut back a few threads and pried it with a screwdriver using the rim of the tranny oil pan as the pivot. Doing this pulls the NSS right on its center and should come out smoothly.
