Hi to all,
I am new in this forum, and I see it very helpfull. Thanks to Swampy with "how to change fuel pump". I am living in europe /spain/ and here is all litle bit dificult with parts, specially with transport from US.
But to thema fan clutch, I have the same problem like few topics ago and I have ordered fan clutch, water pump and thermostat from DiscountJeepParts.com-which is only one with good delivert price to europe.
They just send me mail, that they have collected all parts except fan clutch which i have ordered -/ Fan Clutch for 1993-98 4.0L 6 CYL ZJ with Max Cooling, Rev. Rot./
.I can still order this part without max coolig, but I have no idea about the difference.part numbers are 17105.07 and 17105.04 omix-ada.
Please dont send me to jeep dealer, they ask 500 $ for these part.
BTW I am living in canary islands where is really hot.

I cannot find any specifics about CFM or air movement.. But I did find something that you might want to call and ask them about..

Clutch number .. 17105.09 Is for the V8 Grands and its Called "Severe Duty " You should call them and see if that will bolt on to the 4.0 water pump .....

That sounds pretty impressive...

For what its worth.. I had the standard OMiX Clutch on my grand from about the time it was 4 or 5 years old til I swapped in the Taurus fan and I had no problems out of it.. It is about 100+ for 5 months out of the year here..In fact it rarely gets below 50 and it is almost always at least 80..

Also.. I know a guy in Arizona that is running a Bone yard taurus fan on his and it is above 110* around him alot...

Just letting you know that , electric fan could be an option for you if you just wanted to get rid of the stupid horsepower robbing clutch fan...

Look in the Tech section for my writeup...

Taurus fan moves about twice the CFM that the stock clutch fan does so that is probobly as good if not better than the one you are looking for..

One last thing.. If you can find a company here in the states that has that fan in stock you can ship it here to me and I will forward it to you without raping you on the shipping like they would do...

Let me know..

Carl
