Getting ready to fix up the jeep and I'm trying to remove the slider from the body of my jeep but having a slight issue with the passenger seat. Sad I'm given the impression that the nuts underneath have been welded on.. and the two bolts in the rear (on top) are underneath the actual riser and I'm not entirely sure how to get to them.

Do I need to unbolt the seat from the riser to get it off? Augh, I'm confused Embarassed and before I wanted to attack the underside... I figured I'd ask. Smile

This thing...

Thanks!

Yes, unbolt the seat from the slider and get it out of the way. You'll also need to tumble the slider forward to get access to them. Mine were a mess and needed some PB blaster to get them loose.

I removed my seats complete, slider and all. Four bolts holding it to the floor, one at each corner.

Is tumbling the slider forward is the same thing as pushing the seat all the way forward? Even when i push it all the way forward, I can get to the back but the risers still covering them. It looks like the dang thing should do more... just can't seem to figure out how. It's just getting to the rear bolts that's the problem and it's frustrating as heck.

This is embarassing. Embarassed
