I just finished installing a 3" AAL suspension lift on my 1984 Cherokee XJ 2.5 liter 4 cylinder, and when I started it up the clutch was gone. The engine was completely overhauled and has few miles on it, and the clutch is new. After completing the front lift it was running fine, but after finishing the rear end, there was no pressure on the clutch and it wouldn't engage. After running it a few minutes and then pushing out of the garage i noticed the transmission was leaking fluid from the rear main seal. I hadn't noticed any leaks on the floor while installing the rear lift, but when i checked the master cylinder, it was completely empty. Has anyone else had these problems? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I refilled the clutch fluid and the clutch worked fine. The fluid line did not appear to be leaking and neither did the clutch master cylinder. I think that the clutch fluid may have leaked from the line inside the tranny and the added oil pressure in the tranny may have cause a seal to fail between the engine and tranny. I'm not sure if it is the rear main seal or not, but it is leaking pretty hard. Any ideas?

Searching around, i pretty sure its the slave cylinder, which in 84 cherokees was called the hydraulic concentric bearing. Does anyone know a good place where i could find one?
