Is there anybody with a 3 inch lift on a cherokee that is experiencing a crack noise when u turn the steering wheel pretty far to the right and then turn it straight?

Check the track bar axle mount. They're notorius for that. It could also be a failing ball joint, loose shock, bad axle u-joint, or a bad/loose tie rod/end.

It is a new lift however, i doubt it is a bad u joint. Do i need to get it checked out right away? U think i can drive it as it is right now or will something serious go wrong on the road?

Either way, I'd crawl under there and make sure the track bar, shocks and steering linkage are all tight. I'd also jack it up and check the ball joints.

It could be as simple as the track bar and steering linkage angles being slightly off from each other, causing them to bind up a little (a clunk or popping noise). Another good candidate is the front sway bar. It might just be that the bushings are shot. I had a nasty clunk going on a few months ago and after checking a few things, I disconnected the sway bar to drop the axle and look for a bind. I happend to put some weight on bar and it went " clunk"...the exact sound I had been hearing. It was the bushings.
