I have heard some rumors that if you want to run 35s on a new rubi you need to upgrade the front shafts or face a high probability of braking the stock shafts on the trail, anyone else hear this or experience it, i just got a brand new 05 rubicon inlimited that im looking to lift with a rubicon express long arm kit and run 35s, just wondering if i need to upgrade the shafts now

Actually, due to their high incidence of failure, even with stock tires, I'd replace them now and use your good stock shafts as spares.

For some reason that DC can't or won't figure out, the ears on the shafts stretch easily, puking the u-joint caps and grenading entirely.
