Hello all i have a 2001 cherokee and i saw that q logic makes a subwoofer box for the little cubby hole in the back, for a grand cherokee. Does anyone know if this box will fit a Cherokee? Also if anyone has subs in their XJ where did you run your amp wires and do you have any pics thanks! Shocked

Ah yes ... the cubby hole. Hit this link http://www.cardomain.com/ride/429351/4 and about the middle of the page you'll see my solution for a thumping sub, and almost zero loss in trunk space. That sub is 800 watts RMS, so the peak is about 1000 to 1200 watts. Soon to be powered by an Alpine mono amp. Don't be fooled ... looks are deceiving. It kicks!

You can try this project in a weekend or less. Get the right materials. No plywood. Stay away from too much expanding foam, in fact try not to use it at all. Be patient and seal everything up tight, measure carefully, and do your thing. I don't yet know how to post pics on this forum or I'd show you pics of those done by other Jeepers. Save your $$, do it yourself, gain some bragging rights. Good luck!
