I've just purchased a 96' Cherokee Sport the hazard flashers do not work . We went to the dealer and purchased the flasher mod but where does it go on this model? :

Not sure if it applies to yours, but on the newer XJ's you take the knee bolster off and it's right inside there. It's the panel right below the steering wheel.

i had an 88 XJ and it was on the drivers side under the dash by your left foot. there are 2 things there, one for the blinkers and one for the flashers. just turn on the blinker and touch the 2 of them with a finger and when the blinker blinks the fuse thing should make a noise and you can feel it when it happens. that way you can tell which one is working and what is not. good luck.
