I'm thinking about taking this up anyone on here hunt with a bow? I had a long bow when I was young but never really hunted with it. I'm looking at either a 60 or 70 compound bow. Just looking for good brands and what not.

Hoyt all the way. I got mine back in November last year... Awesome bow, huge improvement over my PSE. Dead silent and accurate. Very smooth and would be a great beginner for ya.
I have the UltraMag model. 380ish w/arrows release, sights and all that good stuff.

This past weekend archery elk hunting i worked on my 50yrd pin. Have it down to a group of 3 arrows the size of a quarter.
