I thought about this when I had my YJ, and I decided that the driver's side might work but the passenger's side would probably be hanging out over the end of the windshield. After driving it for a matter of weeks I noticed that the wipers didn't even bother me anymore, I didn't even notice that they were there. I wouldn't worry about it.

Yeah, I remember seeing their ads in the back of Jp magazine. I'll see if I can find it.

They were called Wipeboy, manufactured by Riptech (www.riptech.net).
I have a pair. they work great and look great from both sides of the windscreen (imo). (Invis. so to speak from the inside, and mil. spec. look, billet aluminum arms and black aero wipers from the outside).
Side note: they are of different lengths as guessed/implied above, not just the arms and blades, were included in the kit but a necessary replacement wiper linkage "gear" piece (insert actual part name, I tried to do better than doohickey - lol) as well. Which means dropping the windshield & delving behind the dash for the install.

Just pop the wiper arm assembly off of the wiper spindles and index them lower ( down and to the left...down and to the left....) ....not TOO low but enough for them to be less obtrusive and still give you a good wipe pattern in case of rain or whatnot.

Yep, JFK. When it was on a couple of weekends ago I only caught about the last half of it so I dug it out at home and watched the whole thing earlier this week. Well, I watched the first tape one night, and second tape the next night.
