Ehirner I still havent checked out the 2 sites you suggested about the lift and bushings I will do so tonight or tomorrow morning

Wanted to ask you if this was worth it though. A full suspension kit off a 04

Will it fit my tj 98 and is it really a big saving?

Theres less then 2 hours left on it

Yeah that isnt a lift. For a few hundred more you can get into an OME deal and have an honest to goodness lift and a nice one at that.

No. It's not worth it. That's only a stock suspension. They go for much less than that on the used market since there isn't a big demand. That sell is smoking some good stuff.

I see ads for Throttle body spacers that claim better gas mileage and more torque. Giving the price of gas these days, are they worth the expense? if they are, which one is the best? and how much mileage can I expect to gain?

I've always heard that the throttle body spacers are not worth it.

I guess that answers that. Thanks.

Besides the obvious tune up, Is there anything I can do to get better gas mileage?

Oh…I read somewhere that with the top down Jeeps get better gas mileage, Aerodynamically this doesn't make much sense. Has anyone heard of this or are they jerkin’ me?

mine gets the same gas mileage with the top down and my duster on as it does with the top up and the a/c on. if the a/c isn't used my mileage will improve or if the tops down without the duster my mileage will drop...but with the other two combos it's about even.
