On the stock rims, you'll probably have some rubbing on the LCA's at full steering lock...even when lifted 3".

You've got a few choices:
    a) Get wheels with backspacing between 4"-4.5"
    b) Pick up some high quality 1" wheel spacers
    c) Put a few washers in the steering stops

With option c, you need to check with the local laws. Many states have laws that make it illegal to modify the turning radius of a vehicle...which is exactly what putting washers in the stops does.

I've also heard/read that you can use LCA's from either a WJ or WK (not sure which one) Grand Cherokee to eliminate tire rub too...I don't have any first hand knowledge of it in practice though.

I know it's not from a ZJ...they have the same exact control arm as TJ's and XJ's. Even though the WK is IFS it still has LCA's.

Like I said, I read it someplace and it was a W sumpthin'. rofl

A 4x4 shop (or even a speed shop) should be able to get them, but lots of online vendors sell them. Try doing a google search.

I have a 97 xj and run a 3 inch lift and am running the stock 15x7 wheels with 31x1050 r15 muds and just get alittle rub but it really has to be cranked for this to happen, its been this way for 2 years and by tires are fine. just my 2 cents.
