I am looking for speakers to replace the rear speakers in my 97 GC, the speakers take a wierd 6 prong plug and I dont really want to mess with this. I know the voice coil in the drivers side is blown. I dont know if it would just be best to hit the yard and try my luck or what. just looking for some good recomendations.

I am a bass player and I know what clean bass is supposed to sound like and I do enjoy feeling the music, and I dont have room for a sub Sad

Second that. Go to www.Crutchfield.com and click "What Will Fit My Car" at the top right. That'll be a good start.

One thing I forgot to mention was that I need to fit a 4x12 bass cab thats is roughly 3 ftx4ftx2ft plus to full size bass cases rack case pedal board and box of cables to every show and practice I go to. so I need something that doesnt take up ANY room. it barely fits as it is. I am mainly looking for something that would replace just the componet speakers

Once again, Cruthfield...not only will you be able to find replacement speakers that will fit in the factory locations, but they will also send you wiring adapters that will connect your factory wiring harnesses to the new speakers without having to cut/splice anything.
