DO you want just taillights, or the full LED setup that has reverse and side marker lights as well?

There are a few folks out there who make these. Here is 1 of them that is pretty popular.

Thanks, I've found a few 3" round led lights, I think just about any of them would work

I've been looking at this myself for a while...

While that Poison Spyder setup is cool and all, does anyone incorporate something for the back up lights?

I already have aux. back up lights, but would like them incorporated into the parking/brake lamps as well...any ideas?

Yes they sure do, only 1 manufacture right now ORO www.offroadonly.com problem is production, you will not see them for awhile, but I have the pre-production run's on mine (testing them)

Dark spot in the middle lower area is the reverse light, also has the side markers on them. They also make a nifty bracket and light for the license plate as well, but I dont have it on.

I'll caution you about the ORO LightPods...they are not that bright and get washed out in direct sunlight. Five or six of the guys I wheel with all have them, most recently I saw a pair of the production version; the others are pre-production. The production version is better but there is still nowhere near as much light as what the standard LED lights put out. The preproduction units had problems with individual LEDs not functioning and some problems with the clear plastic filler hazing. I'll form my opinions on the production version as I see how they last long term. At $195 for the ORO units, the standard lights are also a lot cheaper, and easily replaced if needed.

Where to get them? Google truck lighting and you'll find hundreds of places online. Or check out your local truckstop. The 4" round and 6" oval lights are standard equipment on big rigs. There are also all kinds of marker and clearance lights. I've been shopping again as I prepare for some Rokmen corners and LED rear lighting.

ehirner, the 1st generations had those problems and were not as bright, however tho ones I have and the ones that will be shipping to customers are the 2nd generation and are brighter (We have compared side by sied) The 2nd generation uses a slightly different mold that will keep out moisture and there are also many more LED's in the POD itself.

True they are expensive, but no-one else has anything like it.

I've seen the production version as I noted. Even with the increased LED count, they still get washed out in direct sunlight. I won't run them and will stick with standard truck type LED lights. They are significantly brighter and still visible in direct sunlight. On the trip back from our play area, I had 2 Jeeps in front of me. One equipped with ORO LightPODs directly in front, the other with standard truck LED lights in front of him. I could visually see the significant difference. See them in line, in a comparison, made up my mind that the ORO units are not bright enough.

Yes, the production version is using different materials. Until a long term test over a couple months is completed, I'll wait to make my opinions on the new materials.
