What's up guys, I got bored and Im getting real antsy to get out of school for break so that I can start on all the things im going to be doing to my grand cherokee. I decided to make a list and see what you guys think of the setup Im going to run. As you can see I have plenty of work ahead of me. rofl

Yesterday I ordered:
RE 4.5" superflex kit (i plan on using with the spacers)
RE 2" front and rear bumpstops
transfer case drop (for now im a poor college kid)
33x12.50R15 Goodyear MT/R's

Other things Im going to do:
NP231 swap
replace rear main seal

X2 Sad

It does sound like a lot of work...I'm planning on either a 4" or a 6" LA suspension from Full Traction. I seem to have great ground clearance, so I think I'll stay at 4". rofl ...but they are the same price Confused so I dunno yet...

I hear the MT/Rs are good, have fun with them thumbs

Yea, Im at like the absolute max for the short arms but once i get some more money im most likely going to get the long arm upgrade kit from RE and a SYE. Im going to start the work next weekend i'll also take pics during all of it and post them for you guys to check out.

Would there be any benefit for a tcase drop on a zj? I didn't even know they made one for the zj.

Most on this board will recommend an SYE, but there is always room for a t-case drop if you have bad vibes due to lifting the vehicle. I'm not sure at what point the drop is suggested for in ZJs though.

I am running 5.5 springs and Actual net lift of about 6.25 and I have stock shafts... No SYE needed... I have never dropped a shaft on the trail either..

I in fact had to lengthen my wheelbase to keep my stock shafts from being to long... Mr. Green

It wont hurt to put the Tcase drop on there...But with 6.5 you will need long arms and the cross member that comes with them will be set as you need it..
