I found a writeup of a guy that put the Taurus 2 speed electric fan in his tj with a 2.5 in it. Of course when you do that, the original shroud is taken out. This leaves a big gap, which doesn't bother me. What does bother me is that you cna look straight at the ground. I dont like the idea of the engine being that vunerable to stuff flying up, wether it be water or brush. Any ideas on a homemade fix for this? I haven't looked to see if you can bolt a plate anywhere or not. Thought maybe one of you would know for sure. Id like to make the swap but dont like the hole. Here's the writeup. http://www.creeperjeepers.org/Electric%20fan%20install%20in%20a%202.5L%20TJ.html Let me know what you think.
