I know it is not 2006 yet, but I found a spy report on the 2007 Wrangler. What's Chysler thinking by going back to square lights, or I'm wrong. That's not the only thing, a four door model. It look's like the Rescue or more like the Dakar. Here is the link. http://www.edmunds.com/insideline/do/Features/articleId=106599#6

I would bet that there is tape on those lights to make it appear as they are square. I dont think they are gonna try that change again.

I'm not worrying until the vehicle is finally released. There's lots of rumors and other tidbits, even some other pictures with more shown. Headlight shape is the last of my concerns with the new Wrangler. I'd much rather see a solid front axle, removeable/fold down top, and some newer powerplants. There's no point getting your panties in a wad over some spy shots of a bundled up prototype.

Also, moved this out of TJ tech...since it's not a TJ and it's hardly tech.

From that shot it would appear that the roof is still removable...more or less. The A pillor for the windshield still looks like a hinge arrangement.

And I guess Ill hang on to my rig for a while longer. Is the world screaming for DC to produce yet another yuppie mall crawler? From what it appears as of now....the answer must be yes Rolling Eyes

I've seen the incognito shots of a two door as well, so it looks like they'll just be offering both versions. Maybe the 4dr will replace the Unlimited, dunno. Things change from now to production, but I certainly don't like those little round marker lights on the flare. On a plus side, it kinda looks like a front lower control arm in the pic, so hopefully that means SFA as well.

WhatWasIThinkin - you could be right. We taped the lights to our humvees in Baghdad. I like the turn signal lights up front. It reminds me of the Cjs. I don't like lights on the flares. I'll keep my jeep. Maybe the after market parts prices will drop. Just like when the TJ's came out. We just have to wait until Chrysler releases it at an auto show.

Rumors are it'll be at the Detroit show in January.

If you look at the pic that's posted up above, take your hand and cover everything except the front end, from the about the wheel up, and it looks like a Liberty front end.
